  • Type: "Bogs in the New Forest, Hampshire, and at Drumby Airy, a waterfall on the Noran, Angusshire. Mr Lyell. - Bogs among Sphagnum latifolium and Hookeria lucens, near Bantry, Ireland. Miss Hutchins. - From some indifferent specimens, gathered at Tunbridge High Rock, Mr Foster's Habitat, in the "Tunbridge List of Plants". It is, probably, the "New Marchantia," mentioned in that work."
