• remarks: Listed from Queensland by Scott & Stone (1976: 168), but no Australian specimens of this species were seen by Reese & Stone (1995: 16). Syrrhopodon mammillosus was placed in synonymy with S. trachyphyllus by Mohamed & Reese (1985) and so treated in the Catalogue (Streimann & Curnow 1989: 355). It was subsequently reinstated as a distinct species by Mohamed & Reese (1988).
