Excluded from Chaetomitrium, possibly belonging to Glossadelphus, but not conspecific with either of the two Australia representatives of that genus (Streimann 1997b: 298). According to Streimann (l.c.) it "could be close to" the Malesian G. hermaphroditus M.Fleisch.
